The Central West Virginia Center for Pregnancy Care, Inc. (CWVCPC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to their clients and the community that it places value upon all human life, from conception onward.  The purpose of the CWVCPC is to help a woman who is in a state of crisis to understand and work through the alternatives, enabling her to make an informed decision concerning the outcome of her pregnancy. 

The center is located in Buckhannon WV and is operated by Barbara Kinkaid. We will do everything we can to make your choices easier for you as unexpected pregnancy can be quite a shock to anyone. So before you decide what to do please contact us and let's talk about your options.

   Real Alternatives

 A Pregnancy Center is a caring place where women find friendship, comfort, and hope, as well as the resources needed in their hour of decision. Any pregnancy will require certain adjustments in the life of the mother, and sometimes those adjustments seem impossible. Perhaps the pregnancy is ill-timed, un-planned, or even unwanted. 

We believe the decision involves choice. no one can be said to have made a decision wothout considering the alternatives. The CWVCPC will provide real alternatives to the woman in a crisis pregnancy situation, so that the decision made will be sound, based upon genuine alternatives. All too often, women in emergency situations make hasty decisions which have not been thought out, and live to regret those decisions.

      Real Support

The Central West Virginia Center for Pregnancy Care provides deliberation that will enable woman to look at her alternatives with the caring support needed at the time. Initially a FREE pregnancy test will establish whether she is pregnant. Confirmation of pregnancy can be made available through a scheduled ultrasound. 

Literature will be made available for review. Information and factual data will equip a woman to thoroughly consider the alternatives available to her. The volunteers will help in coping with the immediate situation, and will stand readdy to provide additinal service in referring the woman to the appropriate facilities that will offer the services she will need from that point on.
